Job Summary

Join an international mechanical engineering group based in Winterthur as an ICT Helpdesk Specialist, providing essential 1st and 2nd Level technical support to internal employees. Your daily responsibilities will include troubleshooting incidents, documenting issues in the ticketing system, and coordinating external technicians or escalating complex problems to the 3rd Level team and Engineering. You will also play a key administrative role in user management, handling onboarding, permissions, and account mutations. Crucially, you will help maintain the company's overall ICT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations. This position is highly varied, offering the chance to participate in various IT projects, such as process optimization, system migrations, and rollouts. The ideal candidate possesses a completed technical education, proven experience in IT support, and excellent knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Active Directory. Success in this role requires a strong service orientation and fluency in German, alongside good to very good English skills, due to the international nature of the firm.
