Job Summary

This role involves working as a Chemical Technical Assistant, primarily focused on the independent investigation of biological samples for drugs, medicinal agents, and ethanol using advanced analytical techniques. Key daily tasks include conducting analyses with instruments such as HPLC, GC/MS, LC/MS, UV spectroscopy, and immunoassays. The successful candidate will also be responsible for independently developing and evaluating new analytical methods for novel psychoactive substances and designer drugs, managing the toxicological database for scientific and routine tasks, and overseeing the procurement and management of laboratory consumables. This position also includes assisting with the supervision of interns, courses, and providing training for judicial and executive personnel. The role offers permanent, part-time employment (20 hours/week) at the Paris Lodron University Salzburg, providing an opportunity to contribute to significant research and forensic activities.
