Job Summary
This critical role involves ensuring and optimizing the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) of the company's products. The specialist will manage and coordinate the entire RAMS/LCC process, from initial customer requirements and detailed calculations through to the development of necessary tools and methodologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include processing offers and projects by generating precise RAMS/LCC calculations, creating comprehensive RAM-LCC/Safety plans, and conducting specialized analyses such as FME(C)A and Hazard Analyses. The position acts as a key interface between the Procurement, Engineering, and Sales departments. Candidates must possess a technical education in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and several years of experience applying RAMS and LCC methods, ideally within an industrial context. Success requires strong self-organization, solution competence, and professional communication skills, offering the opportunity to drive R&D projects and process improvements.
Required Skills
Education
Technical education (equivalent to A-level/Matura) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience applying RAMS and LCC methods
- Experience in the systematic evaluation and optimization of technical systems over the entire lifecycle
- Experience in coordinating the RAM-LCC/Safety process within the project lifecycle
- Experience in an industrial environment (ideally)
