Job Summary

This role is a direct placement opportunity for a Head of IT within an internationally operating mechanical engineering company located in the greater Aschaffenburg area. The successful candidate will lead and develop the existing IT team while managing and overseeing IT projects, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards. Day-to-day duties involve analyzing business processes from both a technical and commercial perspective and integrating these requirements into the core IT systems. A major focus is placed on ensuring data security, legal compliance, and acting as the primary contact for new IT demands and changes. The position requires a degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with significant leadership experience in an ERP environment, ideally within the mechanical engineering sector. This role offers flexible working hours (38 hours/week, flextime, mobile working) and requires a proactive, analytical leader with very good English skills.
