Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Service Engineer or Technician specializing in Test Systems, based in Darmstadt, to manage the full lifecycle of complex test benches for national and international clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include the critical tasks of commissioning, calibration, maintenance, and repair of these systems on-site, coupled with extensive customer support, both in person and via remote maintenance. You will also be responsible for generating service reports and collaborating closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams globally. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, ideally with a background in Power Electronics or Automation Technology. Strong proficiency in PLC programming, specifically Siemens S7 and TIA Portal, is essential. This position is highly attractive for professionals seeking significant international exposure, as it requires approximately 90% international travel.
