Semiconductor Service Technician | Service-Techniker Halbleiter (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role seeks a specialized Semiconductor Service Technician ready to perform critical maintenance, repair, and calibration of advanced measuring devices, both in the lab and extensively at customer sites across Europe. Key responsibilities include managing the full lifecycle of equipment, from initial commissioning and quality control to providing expert technical support via phone, remote access, or direct on-site visits. You will also be responsible for planning and conducting technical training for internal and external clients. Success requires a State-Certified Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, coupled with professional experience in technical service and ideally, familiarity with optical measuring systems. Given the international scope of the role and the high level of customer interaction, fluent English skills (written and spoken) are mandatory, along with a significant willingness to travel (around 40%). This position offers the opportunity to work on complex, international machinery projects within the high-demand semiconductor sector.
