Job Summary

This role seeks a highly motivated Test Bench Technician or Master Engineer to join an internationally operating engineering firm, placed temporarily at customer sites in Darmstadt and beyond. The core responsibilities involve ensuring the operational readiness and reliability of complex test benches and associated measurement technology. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine maintenance, service work, and functional testing of plant components. A critical aspect is proactive fault diagnosis and efficient troubleshooting, alongside the inspection and replacement of mechanical and electromechanical wear parts. Candidates must possess completed vocational training in a relevant technical field (mechanical, mechatronic, or electrical) complemented by a Technician or Master Craftsman qualification. While professional experience is beneficial, it is not strictly mandatory. The position requires significant travel, necessitating approximately 120 to 130 hotel nights per year, emphasizing the need for independence, organizational skills, and reliability. Fluency in written and spoken German and a Class B driver's license are essential prerequisites for this challenging role.
