This role involves ensuring the operational availability and maintenance of complex automated systems, particularly focusing on the Automated Small Parts Warehouse (AKL) at the Nörvenich site. Day-to-day tasks include managing medium and low-voltage systems, operating and maintaining fire alarm (BMZ) and intrusion detection systems, and performing extensions and repairs on electrical installations. The technician will handle both electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment. Key requirements include a completed technical education in fields like electrical engineering, mechatronics, or measurement and control technology, coupled with sound knowledge of automated warehouse maintenance, electrical engineering principles, and relevant safety standards. The ideal candidate must be prepared to work independently, participate in shift work and on-call duties, and possess a strong grasp of complex technical issues, making this a crucial role in maintaining high-tech logistics operations.
