Job Summary

The Cyber Security Engineer, based in Garching near Munich, serves as a crucial defense against digital threats, leveraging strong analytical skills and technical expertise to solve complex challenges across diverse client projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the conceptualization of customer environments, maintaining complex IT systems and infrastructure solutions, resolving system problems, and conducting workshops on information security. A core function involves implementing customer projects focused on key security domains such as Firewalling, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Email Security, Endpoint Security, and Mobile Device Management. The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT qualification or Computer Science degree, coupled with good knowledge of networking, segmentation, and routing. Experience in consulting, planning, and implementing IT security projects is highly desirable.
