Job Summary

This highly responsible role involves the strategic and operational leadership of the IT department for a successful, long-standing family-owned tool manufacturer serving the automotive, mechanical engineering, and renewable energy sectors. The Head of IT reports directly to the Management and is tasked with developing and implementing robust IT strategies aligned with core business objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include the technical and disciplinary leadership of the IT team, managing the entire IT system landscape (networks, servers, cloud, security), and ensuring strict adherence to IT security, data protection, and compliance standards. A critical component of the job is acting as the primary contact for internal departments, driving the optimization and standardization of business processes through innovative IT solutions. Furthermore, the role involves supporting the identification, evaluation, and responsible integration of AI applications into existing workflows, requiring an analytical and solution-oriented approach to technology management and budget oversight.
