Job Summary

This role involves serving as the Deputy Head of the Finance Department for the municipal administration in Sigmaringen, a city known for its high quality of life and scenic location. The core responsibilities focus heavily on municipal financial management, including preparing the budget and annual financial statements (Doppik method) for the inter-municipal commercial and industrial park. The Deputy Head will also manage the economic operations of the municipal wastewater utility, handle tax processing for commercial operations, and implement Section 2b of the German VAT Act (UStG), including establishing a Tax Compliance Management System. Key qualifications include a degree in Public Management or Business Administration, strong knowledge of municipal commercial, proprietary, and commercial law, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
