Job Summary

This critical role involves the strategic and operational leadership of all surgical areas, including 16 stationary and ambulatory operating rooms, within a major maximum care hospital. The OR Manager reports directly to the Medical Director and acts as a central interface between medical excellence and efficient process control. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and coordinating daily OR operations, ensuring smooth workflows, and utilizing digital key figure tools (like Opteamizer/Logex) for efficient resource steering and optimization. You will be responsible for OP controlling, budget planning, and economic analysis while establishing high-level quality and safety standards compliant with clinical guidelines. Furthermore, the manager will lead and develop OR and anesthesia nursing staff, drive digitalization projects, and implement modern Lean Management methodologies. This position requires a strong leader with strategic thinking capabilities and proven routine in managing complex, interdisciplinary teams in a high-demand healthcare setting.
