Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the operational stability and security of critical network control systems, focusing on both centralized and decentralized components. The Network Control System Technician will be responsible for the administration and continuous development of the central network control system and its associated steering systems. A core part of the job includes managing and integrating systems for intrusion detection within the Operational Technology (OT) environment, ensuring robust IT security. Day-to-day tasks also cover organizing and implementing technical measures for the planning, construction, and operation of network control technology, alongside creating detailed technical documentation for network and process control systems. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Network Technology, or IT Technology, coupled with solid expertise in network, network control, and process control technology. Experience in operating energy supply networks, particularly power grids, is advantageous, making this a crucial role in advancing technological infrastructure.
