CFD Simulation Engineer | CFD-Simulationsingenieur (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role requires a skilled engineer to support advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) calculations, primarily focusing on thermal conditioning within vehicle cooling systems to boost overall performance. Day-to-day tasks involve preparing calculation-ready CFD meshes from CAD data for 1D simulation, utilizing specialized tools like GT Suite (GEM3D). A key responsibility is optimizing assemblies based on comprehensive test and calculation results to improve the efficiency, lifespan, and performance of the cooling system, particularly for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV). The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering with a focus on Electromobility or Mechatronics, coupled with deep knowledge of thermodynamic processes and relevant 1D-CFD experience. This position offers an opportunity to actively contribute ideas and coordinate closely between simulation, testing, and design teams in an international environment.
