Job Summary

This role involves defining, creating, and executing test specifications for mechanical, electronic, and mechatronic products and systems within the automotive sector. The Test Engineer will be responsible for developing test sequences for automated systems, conducting tests ranging from component level up to vehicle integration, and performing design and product validations. Key daily tasks include planning, executing, and evaluating functional, climatic, lifespan, and acoustic tests, alongside detailed fault and root-cause analysis. Candidates should possess a degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Vehicle Technology, ideally coupled with experience in automotive functional and environmental testing. Proficiency in German and English is required, and knowledge of standards like Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262, along with experience in requirements management software (e.g., DOORS), is highly beneficial.
