Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced CAD Designer specializing in High Voltage Engineering to produce essential planning documentation for complex infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating technical drawings, Single Line Diagrams, and comprehensive 2D and 3D plant documentation for new builds and modifications of cable routes and substations operating at high and extra-high voltage levels (up to 380 kV), covering both AIS and GIS systems. The designer will also support project teams by generating planning documents for studies, preliminary projects, and service work. The ideal candidate must possess a background in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering, ideally holding a Technician or Master Craftsman qualification. Crucial requirements include proven experience in planning high-voltage networks and facilities, coupled with excellent proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience with 3D modeling of energy plants, particularly using software like primtech, and familiarity with primary and secondary technology components are highly desirable.
