Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Project Accountant for a critical contract role in Basel. This position is central to maintaining financial control and administrative efficiency within project operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include initiating purchase requisitions, controlling orders, verifying and approving invoices using the Mybuy system, and managing personnel mobilization documentation. You will also be responsible for controlling and registering time reports, supporting the processing and financing of Change Orders, and maintaining the Control cost management tool. Furthermore, you will create and update the Expenditure Plan and assist with general reporting and document management tasks. The ideal candidate holds a commercial degree in Finance/Accounting and possesses at least two years of relevant experience. Strong analytical skills, a structured working approach, and proficiency in both MS Office and Google products are essential. This is an excellent opportunity to secure an annual contract (with extension potential) offering flexible working hours (80-100%) and the benefit of home office flexibility after the initial three-month onboarding period.

Commercial degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrated administrative competencies according to general client regulations
  • Professional experience in Finance and Accounting is advantageous
