Job Summary

This role is an exciting Internship or Thesis opportunity focusing on the development of innovative Monitoring Systems and Sensor Technology within a stable, family-owned engineering firm specializing in vibrations, acoustics, and structural mechanics. The successful candidate will be deeply involved in the hardware lifecycle, collaborating on innovative solutions, and building and testing new prototype designs according to technical specifications. Daily tasks include supporting factory acceptance tests (FAT), setting up hardware-in-the-loop environments, and creating comprehensive technical documentation and user manuals. Key requirements include a degree program background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, practical experience in hardware design (such as PCB layout), and foundational knowledge of signal analysis, real-time control, and communication protocols like MQTT and TCP/IP. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a strong electrical engineering background.

Experience

  • Practical experience in hardware design, including PCB layout and control cabinet design.
  • Experience applying knowledge of signal analysis, sensor technologies, and real-time control systems.
  • Familiarity with building, testing, and validating new prototype designs.
  • Experience supporting technical testing, such as Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Hardware-in-the-Loop setups.
