Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Design Engineer who will be instrumental in the construction department, focusing on plasma systems for surface technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring the timely and requirements-compliant electrical design of projects. The engineer will create electrical schematics using EPLAN, develop comprehensive manufacturing documents, and ensure technical documentation adheres strictly to Machinery Directives. A core function involves electrically dimensioning control cabinets for specialized machinery and determining necessary cooling capacities. You will define specifications for both new developments and upgrades, and manage change requests. Collaboration is key, requiring frequent interface with R&D, Mechanical Design, and Manufacturing teams to achieve successful system concepts. Candidates must possess a relevant technical degree or technician qualification, extensive knowledge of electrical design principles, and familiarity with pertinent electrical regulations.
