Development Engineer, High-Voltage E-Mobility Components | Entwicklungsingenieur Hochvoltkomponenten E-Mobility (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves taking responsibility for the development and system design of high-voltage components specifically for electric and hybrid vehicles. Day-to-day tasks include managing the entire development process, starting from defining requirements all the way through to final testing. You will conduct simulations and functional tests necessary for component design and parameterization, and collaborate closely with both internal technical departments and external suppliers. A critical part of the job is contributing to the conception and evaluation of necessary safety measures, particularly Functional Safety (FuSi). The ideal candidate holds a degree in a technical or scientific field and possesses initial relevant experience in HV component product development within the E-Mobility sector. Knowledge of HV storage systems, drive systems, battery technology, and common bus systems like CAN and LIN is highly desirable.
