Job Summary

This role is ideal for a skilled Automation Engineer seeking challenging, cross-industry projects focusing on the complete lifecycle of production and manufacturing systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include system design, planning, and commissioning, managing projects from initial order through to final customer acceptance. A core function involves programming control software using the IEC 61131 standard, integrating Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) such as Simatic S7 and Allen Bradley, and visualizing processes using tools like WinCC. The engineer will also test software via simulation tools, connect systems to databases, and coordinate closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Key qualifications include a degree or advanced technician certification in Automation or Electrical Engineering, several years of professional experience in automation technology, and proven expertise with industrial bus systems (Profibus, DeviceNet).
