Job Summary

This highly autonomous position involves the strategic planning, coordination, and monitoring of all maintenance and renovation activities across the client's production and administrative buildings, technical systems, and supply infrastructure, covering multiple Swiss locations. The Facility Manager is responsible for developing strategic maintenance plans, managing budgets, and defining product lifecycle and maintenance cycles for buildings and systems. You will lead renovation and expansion projects, oversee operational safety, and manage all building technology contracts (maintenance, cleaning, construction). A key part of the role is optimizing operational concepts, coordinating external service providers, and leading various process optimization projects, often collaborating with Global HQ and EMEA teams. This is a challenging role within a leading, rapidly growing, and dynamic international company in the pharmaceutical technology sector, offering significant room for implementing your own ideas.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering/Facility Management, or a similar relevant field, along with further training in Facility Management (FM).

Experience

  • Long-term professional experience in a similar leadership position
  • Experience as a Safety Officer in the technical Facility Management of buildings and production facilities
  • Experience in the producing, technical industry (potentially highly regulated environment/cleanroom production)
  • Experience in leading and coordinating expansion and renovation projects within the technical industry
