Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Aviation Electronics Development Engineer responsible for managing the full development lifecycle of electronic components for aerospace applications. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing complex electronic circuits, such as sensor evaluations, microcontroller circuits, and power supplies, while strictly adhering to rigorous aviation standards like DO-254 and DO-160. The engineer will oversee the process from initial circuit layout and prototyping through to series production, ensuring meticulous technical documentation and successful qualification testing, including defining Design Assurance Levels (DAL). A successful candidate must possess a university degree in Electrical Engineering and extensive professional experience in developing safety-critical aerospace electronics. Proficiency in specialized EDA tools like Altium Designer, simulation software (SPICE-based tools), and Requirement Based Engineering methodologies using DOORS is essential.
