Job Summary

This Systems Engineer role is crucial for the development and success of safety-critical projects, primarily within the defense sector. The successful candidate will serve as the central interface linking requirements, architecture, and implementation, ensuring systems meet stringent international standards (e.g., MIL-STD, STANAG). Day-to-day tasks involve developing and maintaining system architectures using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) with Enterprise Architect (SysML), applying the V-Model XT methodology. Responsibilities include analyzing requirements for consistency, completeness, and testability, with a strong focus on RAMT (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Testability). The role requires collaborating closely with Safety, Quality, and Qualification teams, technically managing subcontractors, and actively promoting a model-based development culture. Candidates must possess a relevant university degree and at least three years of experience developing safety-critical systems, coupled with fluent German and English skills.
