Job Summary

This Senior High-Voltage Substation Engineer role involves taking responsibility for the planning and development of primary layouts for complex high-voltage substations. Key daily tasks include creating detailed technical specifications for primary equipment, performing critical calculations related to load capacity, short-circuit forces, grounding, and ensuring adherence to stringent DACH standards. The engineer will lead projects, manage technical requirements from conception through execution, and collaborate closely with international design teams, particularly those located in the UK. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering and several years of professional experience in designing high-voltage transmission systems. Success in this role requires deep expertise in substation technology, proven experience managing designs and calculations in the DACH region, and fluency in German alongside good English skills.
