Job Summary

This position is for a dedicated Service Technician specializing in Mobile Data Capture (MDE) devices, with a primary focus on repair and staging activities. The core responsibilities include the preparation, setup, and commissioning of mobile endpoints, such as handheld scanners and printers, ensuring they meet rigorous standards and customer specifications. Daily tasks involve installing operating systems, firmware, and necessary applications, including managing updates and security patches, and configuring critical settings like networking profiles. A major component of the role is performing detailed fault analysis, troubleshooting hardware problems on MDE devices, and executing component replacements (e.g., batteries, displays, scanner modules). Candidates must have completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or a related field, possess strong experience in repair processes, and demonstrate analytical thinking and a structured work methodology.
