Job Summary
This role involves shaping the digital future of security within the Swiss Federal Office of Police (fedpol). Based in Bern, with home office options, the ICT Service and Application Manager is responsible for developing, steering, and optimizing IT services and solutions used across the federal administration. Key duties include ensuring the stable, secure, and high-performing operation of critical applications, integrating and securing PKI systems (HSM), and consistently implementing Zero-Trust security concepts. The manager will coordinate digital transformation projects, negotiate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal and external partners, and analyze IT operation results to drive efficiency and security improvements. Candidates should possess a degree in Business Informatics or Computer Science, coupled with practical professional experience and strong analytical and conceptual skills. This position offers the opportunity to work directly for the security of Switzerland in the digital space.
Required Skills

Experience
- Professional experience in Informatics, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
- Current knowledge regarding the latest developments in the ICT sector.
- Proven ability to convince specialists in discussions through theoretical knowledge and practical application knowledge.
