As a Research Associate in Medical Informatics, you will drive innovative projects at the Medical University Lausitz – Carl Thiem, focusing on leveraging health data efficiently for clinical and research applications. A core part of the role involves analyzing high-resolution, multimodal, or semi-structured health data to enhance disease prediction and therapy methods. Day-to-day tasks include managing IT processes, administering large datasets, and developing concepts for optimizing the existing IT infrastructure. Furthermore, you will actively contribute to the scientific environment by supervising students and producing scientific publications. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Medical Informatics, Computer Science, or a related scientific discipline. Initial professional experience in healthcare or research and development (R&D) is highly desirable, along with expertise in handling medical data and software applications.
