Job Summary

This role seeks an Ecotoxicology Laboratory Assistant to join the Global Ecotoxicology unit at BASF Agricultural Solutions. The primary focus is supporting the planning, organization, and timely execution of biological experiments involving terrestrial soil organisms, plants, and insects, strictly adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards. Day-to-day tasks include managing and maintaining BASF's own breeding stocks to ensure the readiness of test organisms, conducting both laboratory and field trials, and meticulously evaluating and documenting results using various IT systems. The assistant will also be responsible for graphically representing and communicating findings, contributing to the optimization of testing methodologies, and ensuring strict compliance with all BASF safety protocols. The ideal candidate holds vocational training as a Biological Laboratory Technician and possesses experience in ecotoxicological studies, coupled with good communication skills in both German and English, demonstrating a commitment to creating a sustainable future for agriculture.
