Job Summary

This role offers an experienced Material Testing Technician the opportunity to join the Bertrandt Group, providing development solutions for international automotive, aerospace, and mechanical engineering industries. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing core material tests such as spectral analysis, metallographic examinations (hardness, tensile, strength, elongation, and fracture tests), and ensuring the proper control and maintenance of measuring equipment. A key component of the role involves quality assurance, specifically handling customer and supplier complaints, generating detailed analysis reports, and conducting quality checks during production and outgoing goods inspection. The position is unique due to its clear career path: the successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing development of the Quality Management system, work closely with the Head of Quality Management, and gradually assume leadership tasks with the goal of becoming the Deputy Head of Quality Management. Candidates must possess a relevant technical vocational background, multi-year experience in material testing, and strong familiarity with quality standards like IATF TS 16949.
