Job Summary
This role is ideal for a passionate Automation Engineer or PLC Programmer ready to join the 'Champions League of Mechanical Engineering,' focusing on innovative rotary and linear indexing machines. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the full lifecycle of machine control systems, including programming, commissioning, and remote maintenance. Key daily tasks involve analyzing technical requirements, programming systems primarily using B&R control technology (Codesys, Automation Studio), and ensuring compliance with IEC 61131 standards and safety regulations. You will also be responsible for creating electrical documentation and coordinating with clients and internal departments. To succeed, you must possess a technical degree in automation or electrical engineering, deep knowledge of B&R control and drive technology, and proven experience in planning and commissioning complex special-purpose machinery. Fluency in German and good English skills are mandatory, alongside a strong customer-service orientation and a proactive hands-on approach.
