Job Summary
This permanent, full-time position is based at the Central Laboratory of the Niersverband, a public water management body in Mönchengladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia. The Chemical Laboratory Technician will be responsible for executing crucial sample preparation and analysis of environmental samples. Daily duties involve implementing and documenting rigorous quality assurance measures, evaluating analytical results, performing necessary calculations, and accurately entering data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Furthermore, the role requires the maintenance, care, and servicing of analytical systems and measuring equipment, alongside general laboratory tasks. The ideal candidate must hold a completed apprenticeship as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or an equivalent qualification, coupled with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in MS Office.
