Job Summary
This role is critical for shaping the digital future of security within the Swiss Federal Office of Police (fedpol). The Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing IT services and solutions across the Federal Administration, while acting as fedpol's representative in major cross-departmental IT projects. A core focus is ensuring the stable, secure, and efficient operation of applications. This includes implementing robust security measures based on the "zero trust" principle and managing critical PKI (HSM) systems. You will coordinate digital transformation initiatives, test emerging technologies, and negotiate essential Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal and external partners. The ideal candidate possesses an analytical and interdisciplinary approach, strong conceptual skills, and up-to-date knowledge of ICT developments, ensuring modern technologies and reliable services support fedpol's mission for a secure Switzerland.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Management Informatics, Computer Science, or equivalent qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in IT Management or Computer Science
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in the ICT sector
- Ability to persuade specialists through theoretical knowledge and practical skills

- Active knowledge of a second official language (German or French) is required. Position is based in Bern with options for working from home. Workload is 80-100%.
