Job Summary

This role is for an Electronics Technician specializing in devices and systems, focusing on the operation and maintenance of fully automated Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly lines within an international technology company in Wedel. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently operating and retooling SMT equipment (printing, SPI, placement, oven, AOI), loading and unloading components onto feeders, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting simple malfunctions. A key part of the job involves SMT hand soldering and rework on assembled circuit boards. The ideal candidate must have a completed professional training as an Electronics Technician or equivalent, possess initial professional experience in electronics manufacturing, preferably SMT production, and be willing to work in a 2-shift system. This position offers a long-term perspective through temporary employment with a clear goal of permanent takeover by the client company.
