Job Summary

This role is for an Industrial Electrician or Mechatronics Technician to support the urban infrastructure operations in Leipzig. The core responsibilities involve the maintenance, inspection, and repair of medium-voltage systems and cables, DC systems and cables, track control and signaling electrical systems, and tram overhead contact lines. Day-to-day tasks include performing switching operations on rail power supply systems, making mechanical connections using screw technology, and operating electrical hand tools. The ideal candidate holds a relevant technical qualification (e.g., Industrial Electrician or Mechatronics Technician) or equivalent professional experience. Success in this position requires excellent German language skills, a team-oriented approach, reliability, and flexibility.
