Job Summary

This leadership role at Theater Freiburg involves the comprehensive management and operational oversight of the entire building services department (Haustechnik). The Head of Department is responsible for the organizational leadership of technical staff, including scheduling and daily task distribution, as well as coordinating and supervising repair, maintenance, and construction work performed by both internal teams and external contractors. A core function is monitoring and controlling all facility systems (Electrical, HVAC, Fire Alarm Systems) using Building Management Technology (BGT) to ensure cost-effective and continuous, trouble-free operation. Candidates must possess an engineering or master craftsman qualification in an electrical/electronic discipline or equivalent technical field, coupled with several years of practical experience leading technical work areas, including personnel management and administration. Expertise in relevant legal and technical regulations concerning maintenance, repair, and safety (fire and occupational safety) is essential.
