This role seeks an experienced Electrical Engineering Specialist to lead the crucial transition of the company's metering department from conventional systems to intelligent metering operations. The successful candidate will assume full technical, organizational, and disciplinary leadership of the Metering Operations team. Key responsibilities include managing the Smart-Meter Rollout, optimizing internal processes, and ensuring strict adherence to the statutory requirements outlined in the Metering Point Operation Act. Furthermore, the specialist will oversee the deployment of meter exchange technicians and serve as the primary subject matter expert for all measurement and metering issues. Candidates must possess a completed degree in Energy Economics or an equivalent Master Craftsman/Technician qualification, coupled with several years of professional experience, ideally in metering or network operations. Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills are essential to motivate staff and drive this critical technological evolution within the regional energy sector.
