Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer at Shell's Lubricants Hub in Hamburg will be instrumental in modernizing and transforming one of Europe's largest lubricant plants. This role involves comprehensive responsibility for the planning, development, testing, and supervision of electrical systems and infrastructure, focusing on low and medium voltage segments. Key tasks include providing technical leadership for investment projects from concept to realization, ensuring compliance with strict safety standards and performance requirements (IEC, NEC), and optimizing plant performance through engineering expertise. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, possesses fundamental knowledge of power systems, and is experienced in designing and installing low/medium voltage networks, instrumentation, and automation integration. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, effective stakeholder management, and fluency in both English and German to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; completed vocational training is beneficial
Experience
