Job Summary
Join S&G DigIT, the internal system house for one of Germany's largest Mercedes-Benz partners, as an IT Support Specialist. This hands-on role involves providing essential First and Second-Level support to internal staff, addressing both hardware and software issues across Windows, MS Office, and mobile devices. Daily responsibilities include analyzing and resolving errors via remote access or on-site, administering client systems (PCs, laptops, printers, smartphones), and configuring new workstations and end devices. You will also manage the telecommunications system and actively participate in IT projects, such as digital transformation rollouts and hardware procurement. The ideal candidate holds completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) and brings professional experience in a Helpdesk or client-service environment. Success in this role requires a fast comprehension, a high degree of self-reliance, and a willingness to travel occasionally to other company locations, making a Class B driver's license mandatory.
