Job Summary
This role involves supporting IT users with hardware and software issues, both remotely and on-site, acting as a crucial point of contact for technical support in the Dresden location. Day-to-day responsibilities include prioritizing and monitoring service requests using a ticketing system, troubleshooting complex hardware and software problems, and managing IT assets, including inventory and software licenses. You will also be responsible for installing and configuring computers, mobile devices, and peripherals, as well as maintaining the UniFi network infrastructure. The ideal candidate has completed vocational training as an IT Specialist or holds an equivalent degree/experience, possesses extended knowledge of Linux, macOS, and Windows client operating systems, and is proficient in both German and conversational English. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute independently to various IT projects within a growing, pan-European digital agency.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist, degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience in the IT field.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT support, including error analysis and troubleshooting for hardware and software
- Experience in inventory and administration of IT assets and software licenses
- Experience in the administration of network infrastructure (basic)
- Experience in independent collaboration and implementation of IT projects
