Job Summary

This role seeks a Hardware Engineer to join a major engineering and power plant construction firm in Erlangen. The core responsibility involves creating precise manufacturing documentation for safety control technology cabinets by translating functional specifications onto specific, qualified hardware platforms. Day-to-day tasks include calculating essential electrical parameters—such as current consumption, power loss, and voltage drop—and managing documentation through a dedicated system. The engineer will also coordinate closely with manufacturing, testing, and commissioning phases to ensure accurate customer documentation is produced. Candidates must hold a Master's or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Automation Technology, possess initial professional experience, and demonstrate strong fluency in both German and English.
