Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Project Engineer specializing in SCADA components within High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) control technology for Siemens Energy. The core responsibilities involve managing the entire lifecycle of SCADA components, including the creation and maintenance of HMIs, specifications, and operational manuals. A key daily task is clarifying signal lists with internal interfaces, external customers, and suppliers, alongside maintaining the central control technology signal database. You will be crucial in system integration and commissioning activities, ensuring flawless communication and display between components during test setups in Erlangen and Forchheim. The role also involves executing and supporting acceptance tests with suppliers and customers. The ideal candidate holds a degree in a relevant engineering field, possesses a deep understanding of the WinCC OA SCADA environment, and has professional experience applying control technology protocols (like IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850, OPC, DNP) in energy transmission systems.
