Job Summary
The IT Coordinator will assume the technical leadership of the IT team for the City of Lübbecke, managing the planning, deployment, operation, and continuous development of the entire IT infrastructure, including systems used by local schools. This role is central to ensuring a modern and efficient digital environment for 27,000 citizens and local businesses. Key responsibilities include comprehensive system management, leading IT projects, developing fundamental IT concepts, and managing the IT budget, procurement, and licensing. Candidates must possess a relevant university degree (e.g., IT, Business, or Administrative Informatics) or equivalent professional IT training and experience. Practical expertise in server environments (Microsoft, Linux), virtualization (Hyper-V), storage, and database systems (SQL) is required. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong coordination skills, a service-oriented approach, and excellent communication abilities in German to support and advise various municipal departments on process optimization.

University of Applied Sciences degree (Information Technology, Business, or Administrative Informatics) OR completed vocational training with an IT focus and relevant professional experience
