Job Summary
This role involves the strategic and operational leadership of the IT department for a leading full-service provider in event technology. The IT Team Lead is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and continuous development of critical IT systems, including Microsoft on-premises server infrastructure (Active Directory, virtualization, file services), Microsoft 365 cloud and mail services, and the EasyJob 6 ERP system. A key focus is ensuring robust IT security through the implementation of security concepts covering firewalls, endpoint protection, backup/recovery, and network segmentation. The ideal candidate has prior experience in IT system administration and leadership, enjoys mentoring staff and trainees, and is proficient in Windows Server, Hyper-V, and Microsoft 365. This position offers an opportunity for long-term collaboration within a medium-sized family business known for its flat hierarchies and open culture.
Required Skills
Education
Completed IT vocational training or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience; Instructor certification (AEVO) is advantageous
Experience
- Professional experience in IT system administration
- Several years of experience in the administration of client and server environments
- Initial experience in leading or technically guiding employees, ideally in a management function
