Job Summary

This role is a key internal technical and coordination position focused on electrical engineering within the municipal functional buildings of Böblingen. The Electrical Engineer will act as the client representative for major new construction and renovation projects, advising external planners to ensure compliance with municipal standards and interests. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating and planning continuous inspection and maintenance of electrical and hazard detection systems, overseeing defect remediation, and ensuring legally compliant documentation. A significant focus is placed on conceptualizing and planning energy-saving measures and supporting disaster protection initiatives, such as developing a city-wide network of emergency power generators. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, is motivated to find innovative solutions, and is eager to contribute their creativity within a modern, team-oriented environment.
