Job Summary
This role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting a critical database interface within the SAP NetWeaver technology stack, ensuring seamless, high-performance connectivity between SAP systems and Oracle databases. The Platform Developer will utilize C programming and AI-assisted tools to build reliable, maintainable software across multiple operating systems. A key focus is maintaining operational excellence and resilience, ensuring high-quality data flow for global SAP customers. The position requires solid experience in database administration, architecture (preferably Oracle), and familiarity with SAP NetWeaver. Candidates must possess a strong background in C programming and be fluent in both English and German to handle significant documentation and collaboration within this mission-critical environment.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or related fields, or comparable experience with an apprenticeship degree
Experience
- 3+ years of work experience with SAP technologies and databases, preferably Oracle
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining software projects
- Solid experience in programming with C or related languages
- Solid experience in database administration and architecture
- Openness to work with complex and large-scale IT systems and architectures
- Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver
