Laboratory and Measurement Technician | Labor- und Messtechiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves coordinating and executing all measurement tasks, ensuring alignment with project schedules, customer specifications, and ongoing series production checks within a global technology company specializing in automotive lightweight components. The technician will independently perform tactile and optical measurements, program 3D measuring machines (using software like Calypso or Polyworks), and critically evaluate results against technical drawings and measurement plans. Key responsibilities also include conducting material tests, assessing the capabilities of gauges and testing equipment, and acting as a technical consultant to internal departments regarding metrology standards and test method definitions. The ideal candidate possesses a technical background, initial experience as a measurement technician, and strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and statistical methods.
