Job Summary

This role involves applying Systems Engineering methods to the development of electrical and electronic systems for military land vehicles. The successful candidate will act as a System Analyst, operating at the sub-system level to analyze use cases and define specific requirements based on features and functions. Day-to-day responsibilities include system analysis, drafting electrical (sub)-sub-system specifications, and creating relevant system documentation while adhering strictly to the Rheinmetall V-Model development process. You will be responsible for coordinating technical implementation details with the project team and specialist departments, reviewing, and ensuring the maturity and approval of all electrical specifications according to project milestones. Key requirements include a university degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, professional experience in requirements management for mechatronic products, and proficiency with tools like DOORS and UML/SysML for use-case analysis. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex overall systems within a structured, professional engineering environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in requirements management and system requirements for mechatronic products.
  • Experience utilizing DOORS for requirements management.
  • Experience conducting Use-Case Analysis using UML/SysML.
  • Experience in system development following the V-Model (advantageous).
  • Experience with military or automotive standards (advantageous).
