Job Summary
This role involves comprehensive management and maintenance of a diverse building portfolio in the Cologne-Bonn region. The Facilities Technician serves as the primary point of contact for tenants, service providers, and third parties, ensuring the fulfillment of all operator obligations, including essential services like winter maintenance. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring technical systems, overseeing contractual obligations derived from leases and house rules, and coordinating and supervising all necessary maintenance, repairs, and cosmetic refurbishments. You will be responsible for instructing and verifying the work of external handymen and maintenance firms, as well as maintaining outdoor and garden areas. The ideal candidate possesses vocational training, preferably in electrical engineering or plumbing/HVAC, or significant professional experience in facilities management. Required skills include strong organizational abilities, proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), and a Class B driver's license.
