Job Summary

This role seeks a highly creative Computational Biologist specializing in Multi-Omics to join Bayer's Drug Discovery Sciences team in Berlin or Wuppertal. The core mission is to leverage computational biology expertise and cutting-edge data analysis to drive early drug research, from target identification through drug development. Key responsibilities include designing, executing, and interpreting complex Multi-Omics experiments, specifically focusing on Proteomics and Transcriptomics data integration. The biologist will develop and implement advanced computational pipelines and tools to extract meaningful biological insights from quantitative datasets, informing crucial Go/No-Go decisions within project teams. The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in Computational or Systems Biology, possesses several years of post-doctoral or industry experience, and is an expert in relevant programming languages (Python or R) and statistical methods. Required Skills

Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Systems Biology, Chemical Biology, Biology, or related life sciences

Experience

  • Proven success in designing and interpreting complex biological experiments
